The
doctors at A Center For Dental Health want you to live your life with a confident, beautiful smile! If
you are ashamed of your teeth and hesitant to grin because of stains, you may want to consider bleaching
your teeth. Pesky, difficult to remove stains from tobacco use and darkly colored beverages
can vanish with the help of power bleaching!
A Center
For Dental Health uses the Sapphire power bleaching system because it is the most effective teeth whitening
technique available. This system is a process and does include more than one step, but it can create a whiter
smile than any other type of treatment. The average Sapphire user completes the system with
teeth up to 8 shades whiter than when they started!
The Process If you decide power
bleaching is for you, your first
session will start in our office. We will apply desensitizer gel to lower your sensitivity to
the bleach and then whiten your teeth with a high powered laser system. This appointment will take up to
2 hours.
During this appointment, you will receive custom made bleaching trays. You will use them
to bleach your teeth at home for the following 5 to 7 days. You will whiten once a day for a range of 3 to 30
minutes, depending on your comfort level. Most people find these trays to be very comfortable and easy
to wear.
This
treatment automatically enrolls you in our "Whitening For Life" program. This means with every 6
month hygiene appointment, you will receive a free refill of the at-home whitening system so you can maintain
your bright smile!
You may have
heard that certain types of over-the-counter bleaching gels have acid in them, which may damage fillings, crowns,
bonding, and even the roots of teeth. Sapphire whitening gel has absolutely no acid and will not damage teeth
or restorations. It is completely safe.
